Smriti: Art from the Piramal Collection aims to build conversation around the 19th and 20th century art from India.
The main focus of the book was to celebrate the art making the overall design be simple and easy. And as many of the works have been published for the first time, the book allows for the works to be cherished and celebrated.
The book was designed keeping in mind that it has to be useful to collectors, students, teachers, colleges and libraries alike. It was important for the information architecture to be built such that there will be easy access to those who wish to look for more information regarding the 19th and 20th century Indian Art.
